Found this great photo which includes an awesome bookshelf on Design Love Fest this morning.

Retro is what makes me drawn to this space…and the crisp simplicity!

Love this watercolor match to the room too!  Happy Tuesday everyone!

These photos speak a thousand words for a simply good feeling in a personal space.  Something I have noticed in these photos, and that I am actually utilizing in my new apartment,  is the use of natural woven objects…baskets, hats, blinds, etc.  I am enjoying the feeling it evokes.  I want to thank emmas designblogg…a great Swedish blog…for these photos.  She also has a great Pinterest.  Happy creating!

Name dropping…marcel breuer, poul kjaerholm , jean prouvé jesus and mary! Oh my…but if you can’t get the real thing, going to treasure marts and second hand shops, if you will, you might be able to put this together ‘snap’! I love this room a lot. This is a fun way to put together an apartment.

The patterns in this room add a cozy, easy feeling.   I love the combination of the rustic African Art with the contemporary furniture.  Ashanti stools have a variety of uses…end table, foot stool, place to set books or a drink, coffee table or extra seating.

I love everything about these rooms:  calm color scheme and eclectic accessories.  This stunning home belongs to Maria Øverby, a Norwegian ceramist.
