I have always been a fan of Swedish design. It’s clean simplicity, that feeling of calm, has always attracted me.

I found these great interior shots via DESIGN LOVE FEST!

Pictures speak a thousand words!!

Being a framer, I always have an over abundance of framed prints, and drawings.

The trick is getting it all out of hiding in a sensible  and attractive fashion.

This is one way…using the shelves to group framed prints, interspersing objets d’art.

It is not too formal, and can be added to or taken away easily.

always works for me!

If you have some spring freshening up to do, here are some ‘neutral’ ways to brighten up your apartment.  With spring here, I am in the mood for sunlight and a feeling of clean.  I have the urge to purge all of my unwanted items and refresh my space.  These looks are inspiring me, and maybe they will have the same effect on  you.  HAPPY SPRING EQUINOX!

Tea Time

What’s not to like about this spot? Waking up to this in the morning or coming home at night to have a spot of tea would be quite pleasant! The white is fresh, simple and appealing.

White Base with Concrete Floors…there is an appeal to this mix.  It is easy, clean and industrial, and I must say that I adore this.   The logs add a touch of warmth.

I love the simplicity and class of this room.  This is a great way to display a Danish pottery collection or Arts & Crafts pottery.  This room just makes me feel good.  Notice the lack of wall art.
